      How are chargebacks classified?

      At ClearSale, we go beyond reason codes. To guarantee the quality of our solution’s feedback, we classify every chargeback by labeling the cardholder in one of four categories:

      • Deliberate fraud
      • Friendly fraud
      • Self-fraud
      • Not fraud-related
